·     1995 Sweeny & Associates (S&A) was established and has grown  into a healthy organization, utilizing  local talent to  support the growing needs of the small business/home owner. By maintaining  a small operating  staff and catering to the  local Delaware  market place. S&A has  been  able to  keep the cost of products and  services within  reach.

·     1995 the S&A Saw Mill Division catering to the individual who  wants to turn a large tree limb or a small/medium sized tree into usable lumber, at a very reasonable price.

·     2005 S&A created the Possum Hollow Gourds Division to provide quality natural Bird Feeders, Bird Homes, ladies' pocketbooks, plus decorative Bowls and Vases. We grow most of our gourds on our own farm, here in Delaware. To meet our unique product needs we also purchase gourds from California, Florida, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania. And the Carolinas. This fall we expect our Delaware harvest to be approximately 700 gourds.

·     2007 we added handcrafted and spiral turned walking sticks to  our Possum Hollow Gourd  Division. The walking sticks  are stained, and lacquer finished making them a sturdy, useful, and resilient gear  for any serious country hiker or city walker. 

·     2008 S&A opened the Memorial Walkway Paver Engraving and Lettering Division. You  provide your favorite  paver from your walkway, drive, patio, or memorial garden and we will sandblast in your words and then finish with an epoxy filler/sealer.
